 Differential Refractive Index Detectors are used for detecting little or no UV active samples such as sugars or polymers. The Shodex RI-101, employs a number of improvements for shortening the time for stabilization. By using a micro-processor it is capable of automatic start-up from eluent replacement to checking the base-line stabilization.
