It may be used in HPLC to pressures up to 35 MPa. Injected volume of a sample is given by a exchangeable loop used (3 ul to 1 ml) fastened to the back of the valve. The loop should be filled using a Hamilton syringe with a needle for HPLC, or a LUER syringe with a needle supplied as an accessory.
