Clarity module for HPLC control

Add-on module for direct HPLC/CE control needed for every type of device from ECOM which communicates digitaly (ethernet, USB, RS232).

The LC Control unlocks all LC modules in Clarity software. The direct control of Liquid chromatography sets generaly includes the control HPLC Pump gradients, setting the idle flows, control detectors, digital data acquisition over RS232 etc.

This module provides generic support for direct control of pumps controlled voltage and frequency by means of  CB20 D/A and D/f Converter.

It is possible to control instruments via RS232/USB/Ethernet. This control is produced by native driver or by LC Universal driver (LC Uni driver).

ECOM pumps with native driver

The ECOM company develops native drivers for Alpha, Beta, etc. pumps. These drivers are included in the latest Clarity installation. 

This kind of pumps control requires crossed serial cable connection between pump and PC.

ECOM detectors with native driver

The ECOM company develops native drivers for Sapphire, Flash 06/10, Opal etc. detectors. These drivers are included in the latest Clarity installation. 

This kind of detectors control requires crossed serial cable connection between detector and PC. Starting device is necessary for analysis start by injector, also (e.g. Panda 30HID is supported in CLarity). A/D converter card is not neccessary for data acquisition.

ECOMs pumps supported by LC Uni driver

Alfa 10, Beta 10, etc. This kind of instrument control is obsolete and if native driver exist is recommended.

This kind of pumps control requires crossed serial cable connection between pump and PC.

Sapphire 800, Sapphire 600, Topaz, etc. This kind of instrument control is obsolete and if native driver exist is recommended.
