Preparative External Cell PLCC15 EX has a unique design with an optical length of 0.3 mm. Thanks to the construction of the bypass, it prevents the formation of bubbles. It is designed for preparative or flash applications and it is possible to connect it using tubing with OD 1/8" and thread 1/4"-28 with flat bottom. Internal volume of preparative cell is 40 µl. Maximum flow rate is 500 ml/min.
Optical design allows to install the cell out of detector. Light beam is led from detector and back using optical cables with SMA 905 connectors. It is necessary to use low solarization cables to avoid damage by UV light. Suggested cables length is 1 – 2 m because the longer cable the higher light losses. The external cell is equipped with two M3 screws for fixing in your workplace.
