It is designed for switching columns without stopping the flow of a mobile phase (without stopping a pump) up to 35 MPa. The valve is controlled manually by means of a handle.
According to the type of connection the valve may serve either for switching of up to six inlets to a single outlet, or for switching of up to six outlets to a single inlet. The individual positions of the handle are fixed by a ball, which is pressed to grooves in the rotor.
Capillaries (1/16") can be fasten by standard HPLC nuts for all types of vavles.
