UV-VIS DETECTOR LCD 2084.2
is a processor version of a LCD 2083 detector with a wavelength range of 190 - 600 nm and a noise level ± 1.25 x 10-5 AU with an empty cell and with lot of new functions:
- A adjusted wavelength and sensitivity may be changed by a programme during an analysis.
- An informative scan may be performed during analysis in a selected portion of a spectrum.
- Thus obtained scan can be used for determination of an optimum wavelength for particular analysis, or for a check for purity of a peak.
- The individual programmes may be stored in a detector memory. All operations may be also performed in a manual mode.
- The detector performs automatic wavelength calibration after lamp has been switched on, and the switching off the lamp may also be pre-programmed after completion of analysis.
- The detector cell is replaceable from the side of the detector. A standard analytical cell, preparative cell, or microcell may be used according to the type of analysis.
- The start can be initiated either from a keyboard or with a switch on an injection valve.

Important notice: Output signal of the detector is directly proportional to the optical path of the cell. The noise and drift levels are referred to the optical path of 10 mm, corresponding to the AU definition.
