BABY18 Detector Series

BABY18 Detectors are produced in many versions according wavelengths range, number of measuring channels and scanning possibility. Thanks to the use of a mminiature discharge lamp, it achieves small dimensions and low power consumption.

Four wavelength ranges (200 - 400; 200 - 600; 200 - 800 and 190 - 800 nm) are offered in versions which measure  on two or four wavelengths with informative scan on query or in Scanning version which measures at four wavelengths simultaneously or sends a scan at a speed up to 20 Hz which allows the creation of a 3D picture. More wavelengths or scans are used in liquid chromatography to verify the purity of analyzed samples or in situations when some peaks absorb on different wavelengths. 

BABY18 Detectors are delivered with a PFC cell   with optical pathlength of 0.1 mm. But according customer request are available cells with optical path length from 0.05 - 5 mm.

Cell PFC010 new middle

The unit is supplied with an AMY17 PCB board of dimensions 100 x 160 mm (3.94 x 6.30 in). It powers the lamps and controls the unit. Thanks to new board features it allows sending a scan of spectra with high resolution and speeds up to 20 Hz depending on the baud rate. 

AMY17 board allows to have optional extension modules (for additional cost):
• Analog outputs board
• LAN and USB board
• Display with keyboard
• Leakage sensor
