The ECDU 2100 is a conductivity and pH monitor, in addition equipped with a UV cell. These detectors are suited for preparative and flash chromatography. Thanks to the unique ECOM design of the dual UV and conductivity cell, it radically improves chromatography process monitoring.
The dual cell has been developed for high-pressure applications where it is necessary to measure conductivity and UV absorbance at the same time, without any delay. To achieve such requirements, the conductivity and UV cells are assembled in one block. Signal from the conductivity cell is evaluated using an electronic board which is inside this unit, signal from the UV cell is evaluated by means UV detector which is connected to the cell by optical cables.
